The data on food insecurity and affordability at McGill
Let’s Eat McGill was formed by a group of students who were frustrated by the high prices of food on campus, which they noticed was forcing some students to adopt unhealthy eating habits such as skipping meals or cutting out healthier foods such as fruit, which often cost more.
Many surveys of student experiences at the campus dining halls, administered by SHHS, show results that support what Let’s Eat McGill and other food advocacy groups have been saying.
